Beck ha demostrado se uno de los músicos más multifacéticos de los últimos tiempos, puede llevarnos de la de presión más grande a la fiesta más inolvidable de la vida para prueba de ello los primeros cortes de su nueva producción Colors, disco que podremos escuchar en tan sólo unos días.

Anoche Beck se presentó en un show sorpresa en Omeara en Londres, un show muy intimo que mostró que Beck también es un genio haciendo covers épicos. Sólo unos cuantos afortunados fans fueron los invitados a escuchar el disco antes que nadie y deleitarse con los tributos a: Tom Petty, Gary Numan, Donna Summer y The Clash. Por supuesto los fans se encargaron de compartir todos y cada uno de los momentos de este show.

TL;DR: I rarely want to gush on here but this surreal day needs to be logged! What a day to remember! I found out about a last-minute Beck show at @omearalondon right around 2 hours before doors open. 1) When I got there I was informed that tickets have all been allocated and people have stayed in line since it was announced 6 hours prior. 2) Walking away with my headphones on, I felt someone following me around the corner – turns out to be a guy with Omeara who has been trying to get my attention – he says there's one ticket left after all! 3) With the last ticket at the door, I got to be a part of an amazing night to remember: Setlist was on point; no filler songs and the band totally smashed it- apparently some members only landed a few hours ago with no jet lag. (That will be me tomorrow morning, I fly in 5 hours…) The sound in the intimate venue was amazing, even the band introductions when each member started doing cover songs (Bowie!) and especially the easy banter. What a difference it makes when the band is truly having a good time as well. You can tell with a gig like this that everyone was a huge fan and the show was insane as a result. Not too shabby for a Sunday night huh!!
