Justo anoche fue el primero de los concierto-tributo a David Bowie en Carnegie Hall (aunque el show de hoy será en Radio City), con presentaciones especiales de Cat Power, Michael Stipe, J Mascis, Debbie Harry, Perry Farrell, entre otras grandes estrellas que han citado a Bowie como una de sus principales influencias. Todo lo recaudado de estos conciertos será donado a una organización caritativa. Y bueno, si alguien se robó el show, ese alguien fue Wayne Coyne, cuya banda los Flaming Lips interpretaron “Life on Mars?” mientras Wayne se sentó sobre los hombros de Chewbacca.
